The summary should be in your own words. Make sure to add an address to the post card. You can also create your own stamp.

#3 Book Jacket- Create a new book jacket for the book of your choice. The front, back, and inside flaps should include: the title and author of the book, illustrations of the setting and characters, 4-5 sentence summary of the book, and your opinion of the book (Did you like the book? Why or why not? Would you recommend it to a friend?).

In addition to the summer reading project, please ensure that your child knows their kindergarten sight words.

This assignment will be collected on Friday, August 15, 2025, by your child’s homeroom teacher.
We hope you enjoy your summer. Happy reading!
